What is that noise in the background? And why does it make me think of a giant preying mantis eating?  I will be interested to see if you set this to music what it sounds like.

This is being a lot, lot better than I was led-ed myself to believe upon seeing the "just the vocals" bit. Don't detracticate from your assemblage so! This is very well done, with pittery=pattery raining sounds all around and a well done vocal approach. Very strange. Calls to mind for me some something from long ago, like up out of a vast something something.

This is definitely cool as a standalone piece. The melody from the original is totally solid, and with all that fun pre-reverb backwardsy this-and-that goings on, and the wiggling, I am totally drawn in. You got my attention.

 you should have snuck subliminal messages into this.. it's hypnotic enough to slide them into the listener's psyche without them noticing. You could have your own army of hypnotized dmusicites to do your bidding. that would be freakin' sweet.

Reverb with early reflections is a wild effect banshee like  Sounds like someone singin' in the shower  talk about surreal. The rain fx is the needle scratch from the original track? Nice spin on the original this is something Warhol would like
